Musée Picasso

While searching for a studio, Pablo Picasso came across the Château Grimaldi and decided to work there in 1946. He completed dozens of works that he later donated to the Museum. You'll also see works by Ernst, Magnelli, Picabia, Balthus, Atlan, Hartung.

Différents dons et achats de 1952 à nos jours, des dépôts issus de la dation de Jacqueline Picasso en 1991, enrichiront de manière significative la collection Picasso du musée. Des œuvres de Nicolas de Staël, de Hans Hartung, d'Anna-Eva Bergman et d'artistes importants du XXe siècle sont présentées. Une remarquable collection de sculptures de Germaine Richier et des œuvres de Miró, Bernard Pagès, Anne et Patrick Poirier sont visibles en permanence sur la terrasse.

Des œuvres d’artistes modernes et contemporains sont également présentées.
