We favour wild itineraries, off the beaten track, in order to experience the mountains in their most authentic form.

Each outing highlights a naturalist dimension: reading animal tracks, evoking the wolf, observing chamois and ibex, encountering mountain hares, and discovering the rare black grouse, reputed to be so well adapted to winter that it is said to have ‘snowshoes on its feet’!

For those who love unique experiences, we also offer night-time snowshoe outings: moonlight walks or evenings spent observing the Milky Way in the magical silence of the mountains.
And to help you cope with the night-time temperatures, a double ration of mulled wine can be provided... guaranteed to help you survive (and smile) in the cold!
